Tony Jo has been in the world of show business for over 30 years. He has worked through and alongside many agents whilst building his own prestigious career. With his reputation he has gained a plethora of contacts. In 2001 Tony met his partner Helen Ruth Hazelwood, and always had a notion to set up his own agency. He wanted to build the foundations of the agency and management as he himself as an artist would like to be treated.
Tony and Helen decided to form the company, the grounds of a now thriving business and called it HRH ENTERTAINMENTS Based on Helens initials.
The company has various artists on the books. Comedians/comediennes, vocalists, illusionists, after dinner speakers, look-a-likes and impersonators, d.j.'s, HRH ENTERTAINMENTS cater for any event, always providing an outstanding quality of entertainment.
The rapport between client and artist is second to none and is evermore professional ensuring a successful and happy event, which the company prides itself upon.
Tony produced and directed the Joe Longthorne show at the Opera House Blackpool in 2004, which featured Joe with a sixteen piece orchestra and three female backing singers, Johnnie Casson, Gary Lovini, and Keily Hampson as well as twelve top class dancers. The show opened to rave reviews and was acclaimed the best show in Blackpool for 20 years. This year 2006 Tony has produced and Directed "Variety At Night" Featuring Johnnie Casson, Leanne Fury top female vocalist, Steve Royal brilliant comedian, Guy Barrett mystifying illusionist, Claude Powell smooth vocalist, as well as six top dancers and a mystery guest each week which includes Duncan Norvelle, David Copperfield, Nik Page (Les Miserables), Maurice Grumbleweed, Lee Ormesby (Emmerdale), Tony Martin ( Kings of Swing), Sammy Kingsley and Scot Fitzgerald. Once again the show has been acclaimed the best show in town.
Tony has also been involved in the management team of Joe Longthorne for 3 years, and Joe is currently playing to sell out audiences at the Paradise Rooms Blackpool, As well as theatres all over the country.
